Default Metal rotor head vs Plastic Rotor head

Can anyone tell me the advatages and disadvatages between the metal and plastic stock rotor system on the XL. I replace the the stock tail with the Micro Heli Tail system and I could tell the difference. Just wondering if the rotor system is worth the money or not.

Default RE: Metal rotor head vs Plastic Rotor head

Metal is more precise, won't wear like the plastic, wont get sloppy like the plastic so you will get more consistent trim and a stiffer head for aerobatics.

Disadvantage is cost and weight.

I'd go with the metal head.
