the 500 is a complete 100% build not like the 450saV2 thats 1/2 byult in box ,,, I like the full build better you dont have to take assembles apart checking for thread lock and graseing

RE: T-Rex 500 Build
Looking good!
Mine should be here by the Friday or Saturday. When I finally get it will be like my 5 year old son on Christmas day. I have all of my electronics except for my tail servo, it should be in by next Monday or Tuesday. Did everything go together smoothly? Any tricks or things I should watch out for? I finally decided that I will be running HS-5245 servos on the swash, AR6200 receiver, Gy401 gyro, and a S9257 tail servo. I decided on this gyro and servo setup after watching how well it did with Finless Bob flying over on Helifreak. He is 100 times the pilot I am and the tail looked rock solid.

RE: T-Rex 500 Build
the only tricky part of the build is servo install ,,, but Align gives you alot of mounts and blocks for all the different servos .... not hard to figure out what will work best

Anyone going to post any pictures? Is there going to be an official T-rex 500 thread?

Finless' 600 build vids cover most of the bases. From what I gather it's just a mini 600 I guess I'll have to wait till the little brown truck comes by in a week.

Mine SHOULD be here tomorrow. If so, I am hoping to have it finished to maiden on Saturday. A friend of mine is trying to finish his new plane in hopes that we can both maiden on the same day.
