hi you are correct- many carbs on new engines have to be installedmy appologies to MOTORMAN- an oversight on my part- have not needed a new engine for a long time-have to many already REGARDSTONY

hi wow i have never seen a second o ring at the seat of a carblooks like a very good design-to keep air outmay also be some of the cause of having to be sure this carb is seated all the way down-very good information here- i am starting to like the tower more and more-will have to try one soon thanks to all for your information

I just broke in another one for myself tonight. I am running it on the stand and after 4 16 oz tanks. I am getting 11,400 "11,700 peak" with an APC 13-6, old half gallon of WC 10% Extra Premium with 3 extra onces of castor and the stock muffler. The engine idles perfect, and transitons awesome with no low speed adjustments whatsoever.
