RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
well probley my last major buy for the MGT was made today,
2 x Pro-Line White Velocity HD 40 Series w/23mm Hubs (2)
1 x Dace Manufacturing 23mm Wheel Adapter Set (4) (Black)
2 x Pro-Line 40 Series Big Joe Monster Truck Tires (2)
the reason its my last is, im 15 1/2 and so im going to need a car soon so i need about 3 grand to get my car so im not buying anything for a little while. Maybe RPM knuckles with these huge wheels, but thats it

Which XTM?? If it's the 457 Pro (.28), or their .26 Pro version, then yes (both are 6 port motors and awesome). If it's the 3 port version, it's still a good motor, but not quite the power of the others.. so it depends on the price I guess.

Put the XTM 457 in and the FOC and your MGT will be super fast.

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
I just went to put them on and
1, The holes that go through the a arms need to be widened
2, they dont fit on the knuckles, those little rubber washers need to come off (PITA)
and now i realized the pins also need to be shortened [X(]

I never had that problem, or anyone else that i have heard of. they just go right on. just like the stock ones. you have the MGT ones? double check the packaging.

I had the XTM 457 in my MGT and let me tell you..that engine is awesome. For $150 it is well worth it Keeps it tune and is very reliable.

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
I got them on, But yeah i think i got the t maxx ones,
The hingpins were just upside down (top was on bottom) Stupid mistake
They're on now and functioning, so i guess it'll work?
One thing that i noticed was that it stretches the shocks out a little like an upside down V
but like i said theyre working so, nbd.
And what hole do you guys put the shocks on? i put them on the outside and it seems a little droopy.
These are the ones i got

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
axial 28 is just a prettied up HPIK4.6, alot of people have been having issues with them, dodgy carbs, leaky front bearings. Save your money and get a mach 427 or similar
