Default Quique Somenzini YAK 54F E Flight

Joseph progressed through the pronuciation of the letter R. For a reward, he got to pick any plane from the hobby shop. He picked the E-Flight YAK. I'm happy it was not that ducted fan jet hanging from the ceiling. The YAK is much more affordable. He's happy.

I also received from Horizon the new Spektrum radio which has been placed inside the YAK. Here are some pictures of the setup. Very good idea in the instructions is the use of a glue gun to attach the servos. Its quick, light and the glue gives some so should be more durable as well.

Attached are some pictures.

I am using the 370 E-flight motor, which is identical to what is in the Tensor. Plan to use a 3 cell Li Po Thunder Power pack.

Hi Don,

Its been a while.........

I just got one of those. Put an Park 400 Outrunner in it running of a 3 cell 1320 pack.

What amazes me is it does all the stuff I tried so hard and modified the larger planes to do, but does it all with no muss and no fuss.

Love electrics.

BBBBBBranwelllll?

OMG- He is alive!

Good to see your name! FYI- Be careful with this one- Rob S had one and he said it flew great but the fuse was weak- it snapped in half.

Come out and play with us sometime.

Hay Dave,

Funny you should mention that, I’ve snapped mine in half twice already…..but that was the result of…….hmmmmm……..insufficient piloting skills and the ground…. :-)

I put a Hacker 20-20L on it today. Same weight as the Park 400 but big jump in power.
Too much fun…..

Branwell

p.s. Would love to hook up with you all some time soon.
