Default Make Board-Edge Clamps

I use large sanding boards that need to be clamped to my bench to be effective. In the past I've used C-clamps to hold them in place but they didn't work very well. I made these clamps using a piece of music wire, a couple blind nuts (T-nuts) and a thumbscrew.

There may be a proper name for this type clamp. If somebody knows, please tell me what it is.
