Default Trailer Question

How do you remove the black streaks on a white trailer?

Easy way, without too much fighting!

Simple Green is VERY corrosive, expecially to aluminum. I would try WD40 or Orange Blast, also look at Autozone to see what they have.

Camping World sells Black Streak Remover which I have used for years. Never had a problem with it hurting decals etc.

I've tried many cleaners out there from the greens to purples to greased lighting to every automotive cleaner out there. Most just stained the alum fenders and pissed me off. My wife was out side cleaning the tables and chairs for a BBQ one day and the white tables came sparkling clean for her. I said no way this stuff will work on the trailer but what the heck I'll try it. I sprayed some on and the black streaks almost slid off the side of the trailer. I sprayed some more and all the heavy streaks were gone with a gentle wipe of a cloth. The slighlty dark stains took a bit of a rewipe and a bit of elbow grease but the side of my trailer came clean in 15 minutes flat!!!!!!!!

I ran out of cleaner and I got in my truck and drove to Walmart to get another bottle to finish the job. I'd almost rather take an "arse whoppin" than go to Walmart but this stuff is amazing and I wanted to get it clean.

A coat of auto wax will keep the stains away for about a year.

I've no need to look for anything else.
