These 4 servos which you advertise as having metal gears arrived and I see that they have plastic gears. If I wanted a plastic gear servo, I would have ordered your cheaper servos each of which cost $2 less. Why should I pay $8 extra and risk my plane because you guys cheat and lie about the products you sell? Thanks for wasting my time and money.

I don't care about the lousy $8 (the difference between 4 metal servos and the ones you stuck me with). I've wasted enough time without taking apart 3 more servos for your viewing pleasure. But there is a principle that is important here- doing what is right not what you can get away with. Many customers who work on a pay scale closer to yours and who get screwed by you feel some financial pain from your greedy, cheating ways. Additionally, the company you work for routinely demonstrates no respect for patent law, floods the market with junk, much of which I suspect is manufactured under deplorable conditions.

That is indeed a sad trail! They need to take a lesson from Amazon or www.rammount.com. Ram Mount sent me an incomplete GPS mount and I was a bit ticked to not get all the hardware. I sent them an email, and 22 HOURS later, the USPS delivered a complete new item. I still don't know how they did it, but it sure satisfied this customer.

While his first comment could have been a bit more polite, it's not why things failed.
Whenever I order from a hobbyking or xheli type place, the first question I ask is "am I willing to write off this purchase if it gets screwed up". In this case I would have posted in the asst forums that these aren't metal gears as advertised and tossed them into the parts bin for use in a later project.

My first thought was maybe the email system at HK is blocking images (mine does)? But when I see that 20 days later they want to see images of the box and packing material (how many of us would still have that) I think it's pretty clear that they have no intentions of fixing the problem.

All the emails you got from HK were just standard BOT replies. The request for photos was just a bide for time hoping the Paypal dispute time would run out.

If HK was a reputable company, they would have acted on the first request for a refund. They have a shipping order as to what you ordered, and what you received. They knew the servos they sent to you were not metal gear. They just don't care. Anthony Hand, the Austrialian, cares very little for the people in the hobby. He is in it for the money. Even though they claim to have the cheapest prices in town, they can be the highest prices with their shipping charges, and their customer service as evidenced above, is no existant.

I'll never buy from them. There are plenty of places here that are cheaper, and definitely more honest than Hobby Kr_p.
