RE: WALKERA 60
Trireme,
I drilled the holes for the tube - as tight a fit a possible but make sure it's perpendicular. You also have to drill through the middle, straight through the tube, with a smaller drill bit, to make a hole for the flybar.
Cheers, BB.

RE: WALKERA 60
Is hobbyjapan2000 the supplier?
If you want to really slam your head against the wall , email walkera directly, if you get a reply , post it ..the replies make for great reading ,as well as being a collectors item .
"DIP, switches" >> what my G/F says to me everytime she grabs the remote
Tips for avoiding the ground ?...
They don't call me "gravity boy" for nothing.
knowing what I know (cough) I'd say the same thing to you as I would to anyone heading into combat with the crazy dragon 60 using combonations of dip switches....
Take cover , Avoid flying near small furry pets , don't let your neighbour borrow it.
(at least you dont have to pay for this advice)

I don't think your question is very clear. Try again.
You do need to make sure you have the blades facing the right direction, they spin clockwise, and the fat part of the blade goes forward Then make sure you have positive pitch at full throttle (keep the motor off).

RE: WALKERA 60
I vote for pitch too . Is there a dip switch for pitch? a Dip PItch .
If there is no dip for pitch , try a pitch gauge, would be my second vote .

RE: WALKERA 60
The g007 has a remote gain that can be adjusted via the transmitter, the G006 doesn't have a remote gain option thus can only be adjusted via the pots on the gyro.

I like to think of myself as a square guy who likes pi. also I've been vectored angularly several times.
what's the diffrence between GY(smm)AND G (walkera) gyros ?, and the answer there is about a hundred bucks... in ROUND numbers.
I see older postings on this thread about the walkera gyros , some say "best part of the crazy dragons 60 electricks, the gyro" others say "dont expect AVCS to work and for gods sake don't use it" or words to that effect....
more square pi ..my oh my ...

RE: WALKERA 60
As I stand here , sit there , holding my wallet out ( I was charged with finacial exposure).
I COULD just click on that $139.00 link to buy a a crazy dragon 60 ...
but sadly , it's looking like battery, charger , balancer , motor , esc , gyro will chew up my poor wallet for $139.00 + dollars.
So..the good new is I'm right on target for a first flight sometime in 2010 .Look out Richard Branson.
I feel like an employee @ Elbonian space agency.I look like an Elbonian space agency emplyoee I bet.

RE: WALKERA 60
Thdimi,
When you have a chance look at your belt, if it is missing teeth that could be part of your problem. I was rebuilding my showgun and decided to get a new belt as long as I was undoing the whole thing and when I got the old belt off I was suprised to see many teeth missing and the rest all worn down. I think I will check out a few of my other helicopters for worn belt, like my walkera 60. You can't really tell the belt is loosing teeth without undoing it though I don't think.

The flying field is off of Balboa Blvd. between Burbank Blvd and Victory Blvd. maybe some of you can make it out to join us.

RE: WALKERA 60
I have read most of this thread, and have some questions regarding setting up a dx6 with a walkera 68b. I was hoping someone here could help, as there seems to be alot more activity here than in the 68b threads.
I have the servos attached correctly, but I cannot get the heli to pitch on throttle up or down. If I reverse the connections for throttle/bat, the motor doesn't work, but I get pitch from the servo underneath the heli. All other servos function as they should. I have gone thru all the programming for the dx6 that it posted near the beginning on this thread.
My setup is 68b with dx6 and the servos that came with it, G007 gyro and walkera 30A esc.
TIA

Soneebee,
that vid was insane, LOL. Wow, like 50 helicopters being trashed. Remind me not to go to one of those events. I had a sick feeling in my stomach while I watched it.

RE: WALKERA 60
Wvu1003,
I don't know what a 68B is but if everything moves the right way except the pitch does not increase as you increase the throttle stick you need to go into the swash setup and instead of say +60 change it to minus -60. I forget if the swash settings say what they are or just give servo assignments. If you are setup correctly you can look in the back of the book where it shows the servo layout (looks like a pie chart) and their number assignment.
I hope this does it for ya,
