replacement for YS-120AC
Ihad to recently retire my YS-120AC, not cost affective to replair. Have considered getting a 140s but have had a couple of good and not so good comments. Would appreciate those of you who have owned one to let me know your experiences or recommentations. Iknow that the engine has the same mounting configuration and hole spacings, which is nice since I plan on using it in an existing plane. Any comments will be appreciated. Don

RE: replacement for YS-120AC
I have both a YS 120 AC and a YS 140 Sport. They both seem to have about the same power. The 140 has been more reliable, I have had problems with air leaks around the air chamber on the 120 AC. The engines have the same mounting hole spacing but the 140 head will stick out a little more.

RE: replacement for YS-120AC
Thanks for your input. Most likely the increase in height is due in part to the larger stroke to abtain the 17% increase in displacement over the 120.
