I am selling a set of barely used Robart Pneumatic retracts for the Top Flite FW-190 ARF. The retracts don't even have a landing on them. I was doing taxi tests 2 weeks ago and the trunnion pins bent. This is a known issue with these gear. Some individuals have had issues and others have had zero issues. I called Robart and they asked when I purchased the gear from Tower Hobbies. Since I purchased the gear in August 2016 they said I most likely received a set of gear with the soft trunnion pins. They sent me a set of the new, updated hardened pins. I did not install the trunnions yet and I decided to sell the gear. As you can see in the pictures the gear are still disassembled. The buyer will receive the new, updated hardened pins and the old bent ones. Also, I modified the landing gear doors to have an upper and lower door. I did this so the lower gear door moves up and down when the oleos are compressed. This will prevent the gear doors from being torn off on a hard landing. Again, the gear have only been taxi tested so they are essentially brand new. Please contact me with any questions, firstname.lastname@example.org or 860-331-7177.
