I have decided to part with my Skymaster 1/5 F-16. It is the ARF Plus Pro version, with all available options. It has been professionally assembled by a long time BVM rep. The aircraft itself was purchased brand new by me from Chief Aircraft. There is very little left to do to get her in the air (it has not been flown yet). All the fuel tanks are installed and plumbed with BVM Hi Flow fittings, and a BVM Hi Flow UAT. They have been pressure tested and fueled and de fueled, all check good. The jet currently has 8 JR 8611A Digital Metal Gear Servos installed. (available without if you prefer your own choice of servos) I had intended to fly her with a Jetcat P200SX, so the bypass and tailpipe are setup for an engine of that class currently. (The turbine is available separately if you desire.) I had my builder install the Details for Scale lighting system, as I was not too impressed with the chinese version offered by SM. All that is left to do with lighting is to connect and program the D4S controller (included). The jet is also equipped with the D4S chute ejection system, with pneumatic eject mechanism and chute box. You will only need to add a chute (not included) to complete this option. The gear are controlled by a UP3 sequencing valve and JR micro servo. A BVM Smoothstop II handles the braking duties. All airtanks, fill valves, and gauges are already installed. Fully functional leading edge slats add to the realism of this jet. Opening canopy option is factory installed by SM. You will need to add the sequencing valve of your choice to complete this option. Super nice and very detailed cockpit by SM. I also added the SM scale detail package, which consists of various antennas, bumps, and blisters. Very, very cool. 4 seperate air systems with 5 air tanks are installed under the full bypass, which is also installed. At one point before I decided to not complete the project, I had everything installed including the turbine, and less fuel, the jet weighs 55 lbs on my scales, which is very good for this jet. (I have seen some examples weigh much more) Also included is the SM full painted ordinance set, which is also very nicely done. (not included in my weight number above, however) The SM wing bag set comes with it also. My builder added a few scale touches, such as the static wicks off the back of the control surfaces, which add a nice touch to the jet. Also, a scale inlet strake, which not only adds to the looks, but stiffens up the inlet section. BTW, speaking of the inlet, it has been covered in CF cloth, as some early owners of this kit said it was too flexible in their opinion. Functional speed brakes are factory installed and functional, being controlled by a simple 2 way valve and small servo. The jet has a wingspan of 80.5 and is 120.5 long. She is a big girl and has enormous presence-but breaks down nicely for transport with removable stabs and fin.
