Micro-T Lipo battery?
I have a micro-t and am wondering if anyone has used the Hobbyking 2-cell 180mah battery in it.
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=9027
Does it fit with out a lot of modification?
Do I have to make any other changes to the car when going to lipo?
Any other thoughts?
Thanks, Josh

RE: Micro-T Lipo battery?
If I am not mistaken it says that the battery is $1.76. Which seems like way too little. I honestly have no idea. Never used it before.

Yeah, your right on the price. Sure beats the price of the Team Losi battery. There is no way I am spending $25 for a 2-cell 180mah battery. The whole RTF package only cost $80.
Just curious if it would fit.
Does anyone know the dimensions of the Team Losi battery?

I'm not too familiar with the micro chassis' from Losi but the battery might not come with the connector listed, so having a solder station might be handy.

I'm not so sure if paying a few bucks for a battery that is lithium polymer (I'm pretty sure) is a smart idea. I honestly recommend going for the Losi battery, as that battery is designed for the truck. And most likely won't blow up on you. But hey, I've never used that one. But please be aware that people have had their motors and ESC's fried from the battery.
