Default mini revo new springs, riding too low in rear

I am upgrading my revo in parts so i went out and about the black and tan springs, put tan on front and black on rear. also added 60wt fluid to each shock but now my rear seems to be riding pretty low

do i need higher wt fluid? or is something else wrong

i was riding with two batteries for awhile but still ran on one and it was still riding pretty low in the rear

They all seem to ride low in the rear. Even after I upgraded the shocks. So I installed front rockers in the rear to help out.

was yours riding below horizontal? like the rear is below the axel of the wheels?

have you threaded the springs up very much ? the black springs are a little bit shorter then the green ones so I had to thread mine nearly all the way up to stop it sagging. We were mainly jumping so if you want better handling you might not want them so tight. I'll include a pic so you see what I mean

well you might want to get the GPM shocks ... they are very stiff, I will only be using mine for bashing ... I would also recommend getting some alloy shock mounts

I have some alloy rockers coming in the post and I missed a delivery today so they are probably at the post office right now. In my traxxas shocks I have 70wt all round and in my GPMs I have 40wt front and 70wt rear. I have some 60wt and 80wt on order so when I get them I will play around with them and see what works best. Not sure if the brand matters but I am using Muchmore Racing shock oil

none really but they look cool and will be stronger not that the stock rockers are weak... one thing I don't like about the stock ones is each time I unscrew them I feel like I am wearing away the thread and one of the screws had a little bit of plastic stuck to it when I first took it out so I am hoping the alloy rockers have a stronger thread ... btw I didn't get my rockers today

I would highly recommend the RPM knuckles. I first had a set of HR aluminum ones but the inserts wore out and they had as much slop as the stock carriers. Got a RPM set after that and haven't had any problems.

Anyone know of any Youtube video's that walk you through any mod's.
I'v got the 1/16 e-Revo. So far out of the box it's awesome, Not sure how or what I would mod yet.

if you were the normal kid that liked to take things apart and put them back together then it should be pretty easy.

If your looking for a place to start the suspension a-arms and axle carries are a good place... I would recommend RPM because they make the best stuff and unlike many brands they come with very good instructions so as long as you read and follow them carefully you will be fine.

I got a used revo some weeks ago. It had the castle 4600kv + sv2 esc, but for now Im running the stock motor/esc.

So far I have the rpm arm + knuckles front, and the wide a arms from traxxas + rpm knuckles back.
the gtr shocks
and alu push rods

I have on order :
alloy shock mounts
thetoyz Delrin Rear Chassis Brace
gpm Alu Knuckles for front
gpm alu rockers + bb
alu center drive line

and I will get the alu bulkheads later.

That should cover the most I think.

Hmm, I just had a look at the order from the toyz again, and I have managed to order the summit rockers, dæng.
