Anybody know what would cause my whole gear box to suddenly strip out. There's gear teeth all over inside, and now Ineed a new idler gear and a new drive gear.

I really am not impressed with the cost of a good set of tires and rims, Not hard to spend $100 for a set with shipping etc.

can you guys tell me what kind of runtime your getting on a 2s. I want to get back into electric but my only concern is times over nitro. Nitro you can refuel and go but you gotta charge batts with electric. How is this truck & so far what are common problems with it

also could you guys link me good 2s lipos since I dont know what to use & possibly the cheapest but best charger to buy

Looks good dude!
Thanks mate but i dont think i will run them until you can get some much better out drives. These wheels are heavy and will destroy them in no time.i will keep them for looking good on the shelf for now.I love the look of the xs with the bigger tyres tho and dont think i will be able to go back to the stock size.I am going to keep the stock 28th pinion and get the 32-60th idler gear.I have read about someone running that gearing on 2s with bigger tyres without getting any heat issues so i will give that a go.

Another Rookie question.  What does the xs do when it hits the battery cutoff?   Does it beep or make any noise nor just stop?  This is my first LIPO experience and I don’t want to ruin the batteries first run.

On Another note, the trucks are finally back from California.  Both are running, the one slipper is way too loose but fixable.  They gave me 2 sets for rims and tires for the trucks for my “problems”.  I like the look of the originals better though.  They did leave the pin out of the steering.  I had to jimmy a pin to keep the steering straight and I have to order the right part so the steering is nice and tight.

Can’t wait to get to the track this week and give them a proper run.

Once it hits the LVC the truck will slow down to a crawl or just stop..
