I finally had a turnbuckle pop off, which is scary the first time, when you see a wheel all bent to the inside!
So what has worked to fix this problem?

Another good solution to heat is to run the castle SCT 3800 motor. I've run cool with it even on 3s with stock gearing all the time and I have no plans on adding air flow because its not needed. I look at fans as a bandaid.

Good idea Eclick. Its not much different than the safety wires that are put on racing cars and carts. For some reason in each of the fifety times my turnbuckle came off it was attached half of the time or laying next to the truck the other half.

I bought a set of RPM Revolver wheels and dyed them green, great right? No
The guy at the LHS said they had the hex back on them, they don't. They are the "circle" type hub, so my question is, is there a hub that will work on our XS to fit these wheels?

Is it meant to hold a bearing? If so they only work on the front. Or does it have a pin that goes directly in the wheel? Post a picture.
I'm bummed. Its snowed enough to stop me from driving. Driving time will be very limited for the next few months now. I am still waiting for some parts to get my flux running. My 51 mph run into a guardrail broke my ESC case.
My next RC project is to do a tekno conversion on my hot bodies D8.

Well 2nd run with my truck I broke the rear hub carrier, but the part is all ready being delivered today so I will be back up and running in no time. For a monster truck this truck handles turns with ease, and has a nice low center of gravity so it does not even come close to flipping as much as some of the other monster trucks I own and drove. All in all this is a great truck. I going to shoot a video of my Merv and XS Racing both on 2s and see whats faster.

Anyone else have major wear on the center drive cup. After 4 packs at 2s and 1 with 3s the cup is pretty much toast. The wear is only on the rear side.
