I want a SLOW crawler indoor truck ?
Hello,
I am looking to buy a SLOW indoor truck or car style for the living room. Its for my 5 year old grandson so it needs to be very slow , thats why I was thinking a crawler style truck. I'm looking to spend no more then 60 dollars. Does anyone out there have any suggestions at all ? I would much appreciate it.
thanks much.
Bob

At that price point, you will more than likely be getting something that falls into the toy grade-ish part of the hobby. That being said, a crawler won't get into too much trouble because of speed limitations.

If you want to stay under $60, this could be a good option for you. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/basher-r...awler-rtr.html

I wouldn't underestimate kids... with a bit of practice he will be better than you..
but yeah i made that mistake and brought some cheap toy cars and they were horrible. they took forever to charge, little run time, very difficult to drive and with the lack of replacement parts something simple could write it off,
Sooo.. just keep in mind what ever u get is just a stepping stone and he might out grow it really fast...
here, just to give u an idea of what kids can do....here are my boys when they were 3 and 4
im driving the 1/24 losi and my son is driving the Brushless slash with no restrictions (I taught all my 5 kids with throttle restrictions until they build up the muscle memory in there finger for proportional throttle control)
and from this year
