Default Nitro rc18t?

Everything is exactly to scale - the RC18T is 7 inches wide on that paper as in real life.. Norvel .074 r/c engine.. maybe a lil big but I think it has .5 HP or so.. cute little engine. Should I start the project when the truck comes out?

So... give me some feedback! [8D]

yes it could work but i think youi may need a smaller reciever, and you would have to make a clutch for the norvel engine too.

looks easier on PAPER NO PUN INTENDED....

yea i think your issue will be the clutch setup looks like not to much room over there.. also yea smaller receiver would def help and abattery pack instead of the 4 AA's but your on the right track...

A gas tank thats not so round and long. try to find a square one. my lhs has tons of diffrent shapes and sizes. yours might too if they stock airplane stuff like mine.

LOL! on paper..

The 1oz round tank is just about all that fits on there, I think. I also have a 2oz flextank that I used with the .074 in one of my planes, and a 4oz standard tank (tough shell) that I use for bench testing. That thing is too big.

The receiver that comes with the RC18T is micro enough. I'm using a 4 AAA pack, not AA.. at this point AAA's is the smallest I have, and I don't have any battery chargers either []
I know which clutch parts I'm going to get, so that's almost solved. I'm gonna have to wait till the car hits the shelves.. the problem is... how to start the engine?? Belt start? spring start? [sm=confused.gif]

if you can get a micro to fly (50 mphs plus) with brushless and good batteries why in the world would it make sense to fool with nitro in a mini/micro? I mean cool for a second to talk about....but to me if you can get these things as fast as ive seen.....it just doesnt make sense.. my 2 cents

well some people like nitro better than electric. even if the nitrop powered way may be slower than a bl system they will still prefer a nitro.
