RE: .12 gas powered {MINI QUAKE}!!!!
Not to mention a clutch, clutch bell, flywheel, etc., proper spur gear, linkages, some kind of mechanical braking system, some kind of engine mount, fuel tubing, battyer pack for receiver, etc. etc.
You cant just buy an engine and a few little parts expecting to convert an electric car to nitro.
For one thing, how are you going to mount the engine? you cant mount it to plastic, it would just melt.

RE: .12 gas powered {MINI QUAKE}!!!!
correct me if i'm wrong but don't the mini RCs take like a .012 size engine? the .12 is what goes in 1/10 scale vehicles. an engine that size would take up the complete chassis of a 1/18 scale or whatever the MQ happens to be.

LOL [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LX0507&P=7]This[/link] is not an exhaust system, that looks like what you put over the tuned pipes stinger to make it longer so the exhuast fumes dont get all over your car or plane. Youll need eitehr a muffler, or a tuned pipe and manifold.
Your going to have to get some sheet aluminum and reinforce the chasis (top and bottom) where the engine will be mounted, the engine mounts still get very hot and will melt right through the plastic chasis.

RE: .12 gas powered {MINI QUAKE}!!!!
Looks like fun!
While you're building your nitro quake, I'd suggest you buy a RTR nitro and learn how to start and run a nitro. Then you'll be ready when you get done building your nitro quake.[8D][8D]

RE: .12 gas powered {MINI QUAKE}!!!!
I'm selling my truck on ebay for $125and i'm selling my charger with batteries for $40.
I defenetly dont have enough money for a savage without a engine,FuelTank,..................
All I ever wanted was a savage with nothing in it except for the steering servo.
I want to get a used savage with nothing except a steering servo in it.
I'll have like maybe $150.

NO NO NO thats not what I meant.
I'm selling my xxx-t with extras not my mini quake.
I still want a to convert a MQ elec into nitro and I want to buy a savage with nothing except a steering servo and convert that into electric.
I'm so confused on what to do with my money.
