Sorry for the newb questions but I have been out of RC cars for about 15 years since I got rid of my Losi back in 1990. I am looking at the RC18T for me and my son so here are my questions:
1. Can you dial the speed down pretty far so a little one can play with it too?
2. What charger would you recommend for a good basic quick charger
3. What batteries will give you the most bang for the buck.
Thanks!

how old is the little one? my daughter is 5 and she drives my rc18t. you can slow it down by changing to a lower tooth pinion gear or you could make a battery pack out of aa rechargable batterys (4) that would slow it down alot. the best batts would be a pack made with gp1100 cells i got mine for my mini-t from unitedrc.com but not sure if they have rc18t configuration just look for batts made with gp1100 cells and my charger is dynamite vision peak ultra which is about 80 bucks and will charge everything nicad,nimh,li-po

Thanks, my son is 4. He can drive his Nikko one fine but it is also a $40 car so it crawls. I will check out the stuff you mentioned. So far I am very impressed with the RC18T out of the box. Too bad the charger takes 10 hours! Thank you again
