cells to mini t radio.
Hi, I have a mini t radio with a mini monster motor and I was wondering how many volt's I can put into it without frying it. I just made a battery pack out of two 5 cell 6v vacume battery packs and made it 7cell with 9.5volts.Will I be able to put these batterys in my radio without frying it or do I need a new esc. How many volts have other people put into there mini t radio's?

RE: cells to mini t radio.
Are you talking about the radio or ESC?
The radio is made to run off 8 cells, no more no less.
In the car Ive used 7 (rechargeable) cells with no problems, but now I use a 2s lipo.

RE: cells to mini t radio.
I tried the battery's last night and it increased the power like five times from the 4 durcells I used. The only problem was after driving it for like five secconeds the servo started glitching and I put my ear up to the radio and I heard cizzling so I took it out do to fear of frying my electronics.
