Need fast HPI MICRO motor!!!

RE: Need fast HPI MICRO motor!!!
If you want fast, dump the Spy and get a Castle Creations Mamba-25 speed control along with a CM2080 brushless motor. If you think you can handle a 3-cell lipo, try a 4-cell lipo. That's the set up one of the locals is running in his MRS4. Myself, I'm sticking to the 3-cell lipo in my Xray M18.

Those BL motors are a good suggestion. Or you could find a 480 or 540 conversion. But now what are you going to be doing with all of this new found speed?[8D]

If BL isnt the way to go then try the one18th.com Beast. it is a tuned 300 motor and considered to be among the best mini- brushed motors around..

the beast should ba a straight swap. The most you will have to do is to solder new wires onto it.
you can pay more and get less for brushed motors - go with the beast.

There are 2 motors that come out of The Pit Stop. The Raptor is a sealed endball mod 300 and they also have another that is rebuildable. Both are good, but the Raptor is faster. I don't recall if either has caps installed, but that will also be easy to do. They will come with wire leads but no plug, they leave to your descrestion.
As far as any motor that will be plug-n-play with your particular ESC, that will be hard to find. All of the different compnaies offer different types of plugs, so that makes it hard to say which of them will drop in without soldering plugs.
Graupner has a line of motors that are inexpensivr and quick. One of their better ones is their 300 6volt.[8D]

If all you want are the ESC specs, all you have to do is look at the manufacturer's website.
