Default More Mini LST pictures! And some info owner's should hear...

Sence i got the mini lst i have been driving it alot lately, and still havent broken a single part!!! This thing jumps great, and is really tough!

Sence i got it, i have noticed a few things that need some fixing. Nothing major, and does not need to be fixed to improve the working condition of this awsome truck.
--One thing i have found out is that the venom 7.2v packs(made for mini-t and etc..) doesnt fit quite well in this truck. it's slightly larger than the losi stock pack. Im not sure how other aftermarket packs will fit, but i think i'll just but more losi 1100 packs for spares, instead of more venom 1200's. cause run time seems to be the same.
--The other thing that needs attention is the center differential. its fine and works great, but those of you that have the mini lst already , may know that the truck has lots of isntant tourqe, and driving through grass doesnt even slow this thing down, but it cannot pull a wheelie! I think i know why. cause the center differential is a limited slip. to see what i mean, lift the front end of the truck up in the air, while having the back wheels on the ground, then give the truck throttle. notice no power goes to the rear wheels, only to the free spinning wheels. thats stoping the truck from pulling wheelies, and its whats making the truck have more tire spinning power up front under hard acceleration, cause the front end gets lighter. What im going to do, is buy the optional center locking diff gears. im sure i'll see some wheelies then. i'll post results as soon as i get it.
-- Another thing is the mini body/battery clips. they are just too small, hard to pull off, and easlily able to be lost. Looks like im going to the LHS or the hardwear store to find some lightly larger clips.

Home-Made hop-ups!!
As you may see, i have blue springs and a wing!
--Blue Springs: They are made for a XTM nitro X-cellerator! they are slightly stiffer, and are the same inside diameter, and fit perfectly, but need to be cut evenly in half. I love e'm
--And the wing i got from an old radio shack on-road car.

center-locking diff. you mean a spool?
my lhs(s) keeps telling me they'll be getting them soon, can't wait to get my hands on them, but will the drivetrain hold up to it?
*is scared b'cause not much $$$ atm to fix a broken m-lst. *

Get a drop in Mini-T ball diff for $24, throw it in the center diff, and it makes a TON of improvement. Trust me.

ya stick with the ball diff, its not ajustable, but you can ajust the amount of diff action it allows.
