Default 2 rc18t cracked chassis

As the title says, i've cracked 2 stock chassis in the last couple days. A friend and I narrowed it down to the FT aluminum arms. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm thinking that i'm just going to put the stock plastic arms back on my truck and leave all of the other FT accesories. Needless to say i've got 2 more chassis on the way. Thanks for your input in advance. BTW, i'm running a mamba 6800 with 6-8 cells(so is my friend, but he hasnt had any issues with the stock arms). Just curious to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Im running the mamba 8000 with all stock parts and have yet to snap a chassis... and this thing hits 6' high jumps and stuff... most common parts I break are front arms, and stub axles...

I switched to an aluminum chassis and no more snapping and no more flexing!

Thanks guys. I'm definitely taking these arms off to begin with. I guess i'll run these two chassis till they break also(lets hope they don't tho).

Rick Delton-Which chassis did you go with? I'm eventually debating an aluminum or graphite but can't make up my mind. Thanks

Just jump on ebay since were not supposed to put ebay links on this site, and search RC18t aluminum chassis, you can get Silver, blue GPM aluminum chassis pretty cheap or get a Graphite and aluminum one for like $65

Thanks again guys. Do ya'll have any problems running the gpm chassis with more than 6 cells? I was wondering since it's not a tub design, how running 7 cells would hold in there. Thanks

civicsleeper-PM'd you, may be interested.
