RC18MT Shock Repair
My RC18MT keeps losing the plastic piece at the bottom of the spring on the front shocks. Anyone know an easy way to keep this piece in place?

RE: RC18MT Shock Repair
the kit has a little ring that goes on the top of the spring to make it seat nicely. I have tried using one on the bottom and it seemed to help, hasent popped off yet

I just read in the new RCCA that putting another shock collar (The thin plastic piece at the top of the spring) at the bottom will keep you from losing the lower plastic piece.

A dab of CA works a treat!
You could try wiring the spring to the retainer with some very thin wire.
If it does come off at least you won't loose the retainer.

I read somewhere else to drill a amsll hole in the retainer and use a piece of wire to tie the retainer to the spring. I did that on my 18B and my wife's 18b and haven't lost one since.
