Racing? Bashing?
Get more than one of those packs, maybe 2 or three plus the stock one. Get a Reedy 17t motor, a stronger servo, wheels/tires, couple spare parts and maybe a aluminum part or two and a dash of driving skill.

Also, you should get the kit. You'll learn how to build it and save a little wrenching time changing everything.

with that money you should get:

1.rc18mt 170
2.novak spy 50 i think
3.baja motor 35
4. mini-max bat 35

the reason why i said a new esc is cause the stock rc18mt usually fries for some reason[&:]. total 290. so you have 35 left.

edit: i saw you had the ib bats up there thats cheaper and probably better. 255 is the new total.

edit again: the battery brace isn't really nessacary it's mainly for looks i think. plus 67 including everything you listed equals............................................ ....317. oh yah thats a pretty good deal

You WILL break axles with those. Especially if you use TiNi cvd's. They cannot take the shock and these tires provide the leverage needed to do just that. I would stay with the stock tire size and stock axles and dogbones for cheaper replacements. I have raced all the top cvd companies and broke them all on the bigger jumps but finish the races with a bent stock axles.

Yes, the body posts may be a little off. Drill the body post holes before you paint.

would this be a good esc? will i fry this one too?
Thats a great ESC.

will i need this connector?
Yes you will need that connector, however I reccomend just switching to Deans.

What would you need a hump pack for? The reciever and servo use the power from the main battery.

what ther difference and witch should i get?
The difference is one cell. The extra cell will provide more power.

are there tires good
Those are just the stock wheels and tires.

A regular Tamiya connector is all you need for your rotostart packs.

make shure when you use that charger for the mini packs you switch it to 1 amp and only one of its chargers can be 1 amp. inverted, you should think about being a moderator!

1.0A for 8-cell (9.6V) AA Tx batteries
Peak Charger 2 Pulsed Output: 3.5A for 6-7 cell (7.2-8.4V) batteries

Yamaha, if you can spend a little more you can get a MUCH better charger. The 977 can also charge two packs at the same time, but it can charger li-po, ni-mh,ni-cd, and a few other chemistries. It also has a digital amp setting, which means a more accurate charge as you can charge exactly to mAh. With this you can even charge different types of batteries at the same time, and control the amps for each.
