hi, my setup is a mamba 8000kv and mamba 25 esc. well, when i got my mini-t back from my friend, the car struggles to roll freely on the floor with no power applied to it. i checked the gears and its not it. i took the spur off and i rotated the motor by hand. the motor would struggle to turn by hand. i then plugged the batts in and everything, and the esc would turn red when i applied throttle...im assuming its the cut-off in the esc doing its job. and btw, the motor had carbon fiiber sticker around it along time ago, and now i noticed that its kinda melting off.... is my motor messed up? esc? both?

im saying its the motor, cause all signs point 2 the motor!, cause the tranny moves freely, but the motor struggles!, try running the motor by it self not connected 2 the tranny!, jus free, and see how it runs and if it doesnt run right its the motor!
