Mlst tires on RC18 with 1/10 adapters?
Hey got a quick question guys. Would the Mini lst tires work on my RC18 with my 1/10 adapter set? I really need to know quick. I am ordering stuff right now so a quick A.S.A.P reply would be great

Once you buy the stuff could you post a link to it? Because I want to get some offroad(rally) type tires. And do you have a link to the hexes you use?

Sure Here's the link to my hexes. They are a bit expensive compared to others but they are worth it because the are good quality aluminum http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKBG7&P=7
On the tires I am debating between two types of tires. I am looking at some foam grp tires as they look super sweet but know they wont have off-road ability. And my other choice is to go with my original plan and mount some off-road rally tires. Its a tuff choice, But I have to make one
Maybe you guys could help me out a bit
Here's the Grp foams

And heres the rally tire I would buy and mount on some rims

Please help me choose... Its driving me crazy

Yeah...
Wouldnt the foams give me better accelaration and better handling because of the less rotating mass? I mean the foams have to be much more lighter creating slightly better top end and better accelaration and greater overall handling....Right?

yes, but you have to look at your driving surface. also there will be much better control at high speeds since you won't have the tire expansion usual with rubber tires.

Well I will be driving on the street mainly. But all of my driving is done on concrete either way. So I guess the foams will do me well on asphault...Right?
Isnt that what they are made for? On-road racing?

well I got the foams anyways... They look sweet and perform better than any rubber tire I have tried. Seriously, I could turn in half the radius I used to with rubber and accelaration is almost twice as fast. I also got more noticible to end [8D]
Here's some pics
What do you guys think?

so those foam tires don't ballon at all?
what about the weight. Are they super light? Wouldn't that make it a lot harder to backflip your car on a jump?

Nope, foam tires dont baloon at all. As for jumps, your not supposed to take on-road tires off jumps
The weight on these baby's are awesome. They are superlight. About 1/3 less weight than your standard 1/10 rubber tire. Much better all around performance too. They even give you a slight top end boost
