ok who keeps deleting my trailer 3 thread[:@]? And how come I didn't get a PM? And why didn't my trailer 1 or 2 thread get deleted?

How come you didn't get a PM? Check your E-Mail inbox... it's sent there for some funny reason
WHy didn't they get deleted? Because they wern't selling your "DVD"
And rule of thumb... if it's deleted once and 2 times... DON'T POST IT AGAIN... Don't even post it the seccond time because you technically could get moderated status for this

Holy crap! And you are a moderator? Take it easy on him! I wondered the same thing when a post of mine was deleted. I didn't check my inbox AS MOST FORUMS send a messege via PM. I see where I am going to be spending more time...and it's NOT on THIS forum! We are here to learn and teach and share...not belittle the people that make a mistake or do something not appropriate. i agree with doahh, if my post got deleted, i would pm a mod asking if it did, and why, not post agian, and theres no reason for posting it more then 2 times after its been deleted..and i think he handled it good, (i didnt see what he edited out though) but i dont think you should say that about him (dirtyrice)

edit: yea, i agree its a stupid rule too, i think its just a waste of a mods time to look for that sort of thing...i dont see why it is a rule in the first place

Ive only read RCU's rules, but it's less then a 10 minute read, and if you read it and knew the rules you wouldn't have to worry about breaking them for not knowing about them.

What if you advertise "in" the video? SMF does it in some of their videos. Well, just about all of their videos.

I think GEX was saying put the ad IN the video ITSELF, not put the video in the video section! So when you watch the video, you get the info about the ad. Good idea but a good way to get in trouble too.

I don't know how they are around here yet, but I have had 1 post deleted for it being an ad and just looking at the way this thread started, I'm sure there will be serious implications for doing so.

You guy's should all remember that this forum is ONWED by somebody. That, put simply mean's their house, their rules, plain and simple.

Doahh has a job to do here, enforce those rules. Even if you don't happen to live in a free country, the internet is free, and you are free to head elsewhere and post your trailer's.

I totally understand why somebody doesn't want their time and money wasted on advertising your product for free. Other people pay good money to advertise on RCU, why should you get it for free anyway?
