The ESC is for an airplane although it can be made to go, forward at least, you would not like it. A 120S series motor fits with minor screw hole modifications for mounting, but the 120L’s are a bit long sticking out through the bodies. The Feigao motors come in several different KV ratings but all are slower (being for airplanes with gearboxes) then the Xceliron’s.

JOE is will that motor work with the losi ESC?

But I would just wait until they release their combo kit, it includes esc. and motor of choice.

...It should, it would be a matter of figuring what wires go where...

The only real question is; did they get the screw spacing correct? Since the McT uses an odd spacing, which is why other 12x22mm brushless motors are not a direct fit without screw hole modifications. But since it’s specifically intended for a Micro-T I would assume they did. Orion has a good rep for getting things right on the firs try.

RE: OFFICIAL Team Losi Micro-T thread !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, i finally got the spektrum in, and am pleased. someone wanted to see the wiring, so i snapped a few pix....
i love this angle for some reason....
also, i am STILL not able to go full throttle at all. it sucks, but i have a new ESC on the way. the wheels spin freely while in the air, but as soon as you hit full throttle under load, it dies.
oh, and LBRC, should i get a 100 ohm resistor for these lights? i am not sure if you replied to that yet. if so, i am totallly there.
also, anyone going brushless:
the ESC power switch fits PERFECTLY into the stock location on the chassis if you take the heat shrink off the switch itself. you will notice that there is no switch in the pix, that's because it is in the stock spot

ok, i just found about a thousand resistors, and i KNOW i have the right one, but how do i tell it is the right one? and, is there a direction i must install it? like, if there is a gold line, does that go toward the lights, or toward the power source?
i am putting a little DIY together so fast help is greatly appreciated.

Hey, I have a newbie question.
I am thinking of making a battery pack and was wondering if a micro could handle a ~450mah, 20c lipo battery?
..........
Also if anyone wants to know the stock spur gear has 50 teeth and the highest stock pinion is a 14t.

20C is the discharge rating, again more is better even if it was 20 million or more. 20C x 450mAh means that the battery pack would be able to handle a 9 amp discharge. Continuous or momentary would depend if that 20C was either a continuous or momentary rating.
It’s the voltage that makes the difference, most of the time a stock Micro-T CB can handle a 2S LiPo, that’s two 3.7volt cells in series for 7.4 volts, but that 7.4 is a nominal value, the 2s LiPo actually charges to 8.4 volts.

So do you think I will be ok?
I will be running it on a brushless set-up. I might go mamba 25 just to be safe anyway...
