New addition to the family
So far I am very impressed with the overall quality of these buggies. They have by far the nicest elecs I have seen in a ready to run mini. The ESC is so smooth it makes my XPS in my 18B feel like an old MSC. The entire vehicle just has a very high quality feel to it. Not that I should be surprised Tamiya has always made some very nice vehicles. My only complaint is the shocks. They definitely need to be replaced with some oil filled units, but I have changed the shocks on every mini I have bought so far so that is not really a concern. The drivetrain is very smooth, and from what I can tell and have been told it is very durable, and holds up extremely well to BL power. The slipper works great and adjusts very easily, so it should be simple to dial it in for almost any driving conditions. I will continue to put it through its paces, but I have very high hopes for this buggy. Here are a few pics next to his big brother.

Here are some body off shots. I just finished running a pack in the house, and with the stock pack I got 37 min. of run time.

Will do. So far the only thing I could complain about is the lack of tire options, though there are some adapters coming out soon that will allow the use of 1/10 touring tires.

I am going to try and makes some foam tires for it tonight. I hope it goes well. It will make this a very fun buggy for carpet stadium. I see a trip down to Larry's coming real soon.

No such luck, the foam donuts I have in my box have too small of an inner diameter to fit over the rim. I had a feeling they were gonna. Oh well I will have to make a run to the LHS with one of my wheels and find something that will at least stretch over it somewhat easily.
