Default 8.4v in Mini-t?

Can I put one of those ebay 8.4v Battery packs in my Mini-t? Everything is stock right now.

I was told 8.4V will fry the stock ESC.

im not sure if they had stock esc but i saw this one video, they were usin 11.1v li-po, and if the micro-t can take 7.4 volts through its esc i think the 8.4 v will work fine for mini-t, but im not sure so dont do it till you have a definate answer

Yes it will work I have done it with the Mini-T I had sold a while back.

hi . i was told that it will blow the motor and esc . but i never tryed it lol .

Well first off you should upgrade your electronics if you are using the stock one. Then do whatever.

i have done it with the stock esc.. but the motor will run very very hot if not smoke up

It works for a bit but my daughter smoked her set up after bashing it hard for 20 minutes. The motor was the only thing to go. The esc smoked the next day on a 7.2v.

when I had mine it work with everything stock on 8.4v then the motor burn, but I replaced and worked for 1 month then I sold it..

i used 10 cell battery in my mini t with a mod peak motor and ran it for about 3 months till i got 3 cell and mamba
