RCP tracks
I'm sure there are more than a few of you out there who have these tracks in your basement?
Anyone know how long it takes to put together/take apart a mini-96 track?
I was thinking of getting one for the kids an I to mess around with at home (rather than paying track fee's at the LHS), but the only place we have to put it is either the garage floor or the driveway - both of which cannot be permanent.

RE: RCP tracks
I have a track almost like it. It's easy to pop it together and apart. [link=http://shop.tinyrc.com/product.php?productid=16948&cat=0&page=1]mini 96[/link]

RE: RCP tracks
I have a friend with a L, it takes him about 8-15 minutes alone all combined with storing at the end.

rc18t145, since you have that exact track, can you let us know how long its takes to put up and take down.

RE: RCP tracks
Anybody have a link to where the larger tile tracks can be purchased from? I would like to buy enough to make an off road course for 1/18 buggies.

Yep, go to www.mini-zracer.com and register. Then click on the "shop" button on the home page. THen scroll down on the left side and there should be a little tab that says "rcp tracks" right below a tab that says "kyosho". Click on it. I am -Turbo- there. Btw, some of those rcp tracks can be pretty expensive. But nice quality.

RE: RCP tracks
Thanks fellas. The cost isn't really much of a concern since my brothers and I will be splitting it four ways. That should make it affordable and still be able to get a good size setup. We will end up having one whole side of a 2500 sq ft basement designated to this track, and a small pit area.

RE: RCP tracks
I have the RS version of the RCP track and it is simple and fast to setup. The only thing I don't like is the soft foam barriers. If you hit them at nearly any angle your car comes to a dead stop. If you hit them with the Formula Mini-Z the front airdam can jam underneath and the car gets stuck altogether.
