Upgrading to brushless....a question first
Noob Question about brushless.
I am thinking about upgrading to a brushless system. I have read that some have to be programmed? what does that entail? Will I have to worry about upgrading any other parts of the drive train to support the more powerful motor? and finally, with a system like the mamba or cobalt, how much of an increase is it?
thanks in advance

It depends, what are you upgrading?
You probably won't need to upgrade drivetrain etc.
To program the mamba system, you can just hook it up to your computer.

Check out the Quark33amp and a wraith 7000 motor. I hear its the system to get. Much much smoother than the mamba with more torque.

Pimptruck
I have no clue about what system I am still researching which will suit me the best. To program it, does it come with connections to hook to the computer?
thanks

blabit , you CAN program the Mamba system from your PC , but you dont have too . You can use the transmitter to program it too .
But you WILL want to upgrade the drive train (metal CVD's at least) , these brushless system put out alot of power , even on standard NiMh batteries ....
Its worth it though , my mini makes me smile as much as my JATO 3.3
