Default Question On ESC

Ok so I have my MLST up and running with the Wriath and Quark 33..

Now, I have it programmed and I was told by someone to use NiMh LOW becasue I will be using the Stock Packs along with my 8-Cell 1500MAH Elites

Now, I cant tell if the batteries are just dead, but does a Quark like stop for a second and then keep going slower and slower when the batteries are dieing? I cant tell, but I diddnt think all 4 of my packs are dead..

The first time around it was real real real fast, and real peppy.. No wheelies, but then again I have the slipper turned down..

The 8-cells I have never charged, I thought that the people at Cheap Battery packs charge them prior to shipment, but they had about 2 mins of insain speed then they started doing that dieing out thing..

So it is normal for a quark to die out like that? Does that mean my batteries are going dead?

Can the Quark 33 run good with a stock battery on NiMh High, or should I just leave it on low?

i couldn't really answer your questions, but i never seen that problem out of mine. are you sure its not radio interference? also, charge a pack and try that. if that doesn't do it, change your setting on the esc. i don't remember what i had mine set on, but when my pack would die out the car would glitch real bad like if i turn while going, itll keep going for a second after i let off the trigger. do you have a multi meter? check your battery voltage.

Yeah, the batteries were just dead.

I just took it out with a fresh charged 8 Cell.

All I can say is OH MY GOD!

Dude, this thing is too fast for my street, literally. I crash it a lot becasue the top speed is just insane.

I have the 24T on 60T combo, so I dont even have it geared high. Temps are at around 115 degrees on ESC and 105 on Motor..

WoW, wheelies and all kinds of stuff..

This MIP Diff is great!

Yes, it wheelies.. Still unloads a lot in the front though when its wheeling. But that just shows how much power is really going to the truck...

I would do Trinity Cobalt 17Turn motors, do 2 of those and it would be a Sweet setup for the stock radio gear!

Also, you can get a MIP Bal Differential here..

actually, i read somewhere that the insanes arent that much of an upgrade, your better off getting something like a venom fireball, or like thearsonist21 says the trinity cobalts, or orion baja's ....

also, nimh batteries self discharge, not like disposable batteries where their charge is part you pay for when you buy them...to get the maximum out of your nimh batteries you should run it till it gets real slow like it did when you first ran it, give it a full charge, and repeat , it gets the batteries fully 'shaken up' and they work better that way

You only use one motor when running brushless.
