1/18th racing

So this year i decided to do some mini racing but need some help on wat parts to buy. i want to buy the Associated aluminum, but ended up not getting it. wat do u guys recommend for esc's, motors, etc. i need some thing good but too expensive. thnx

I am loving my Castle Creations Mamba Comp X (8000Kv motor) system , paid 113 shipped .

There are lower power systems for less too .
