Look what the mailman just delivered!
Look what the mailman just delivered .......It's the LRP/Anderson/Duratrax/Yokomo Shark ST/Vendetta ST/MB-4 Truggy. I couldn't wait for tower to get them (I'm not a patient person )so I ordered it from overseas. It's the ARR version - no radio or esc but it does come with the motor. I got it shipped for $157 from Japan.

Yea - it's got pivot ball suspension in the front and longer arms. It should be pretty good in the rough stuff.

We are in the middle of an ice storm right now so I can't take it outside but I threw an Xray ESC and a servo in it so I can play around with it in the house with a 4-cell pack.

Are the pillow ball knuckles and arms usable on the Vendetta? I have a fellow racer who uses one, and if that front end could be used to replace the too small pivot ball suspension of the front...
I guess I keep thinking the bottom arm of the vendetta would be the problem. Its not a 2 parter is it?

Sorry guys, we had a transformer around the corner blow Sat. night and we lost power for a few hours. It also took out my DSL modem, so I just now got back online. The ice has all melted, but it is VERY wet outside, so it will be a few days before I can run it outside. As far as the suspension being used on a vendetta, I think you can convert it to the new suspension, but I think you will have to do the arms and all.

The track I race at only runs the Associated Super 370 motor, so I have to run that. As far as the speed control goes, I am not sure yet. They allow reverse so I need to take advantage of that. I am thinking of getting a LRP Quantum Pro Reverse. I know its a little over kill but its only $$$$ right. The servo I am using is a Hitec HS-5245 mini digital - metal geared. I also have a Quark 33 Procar to use when I am not at the track, or for racing on my back yard track, but I don't have a brushless motor for the truck yet.

if that truggy uses the same drivetrain as the vendetta and mini quake you will have problems with the associated motor, if you have the quark already get a air power 4700.
