Well you can get another stock one for that much, or get a 1/10 scale one that will handle any mini motor, and be water proof.

I would use this, if I ever ran brushed motor's. It's waterproof and under your price point. [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LA5572&P=1]speedo[/link]

Do you already have the 19t on your MT? FYI - the official AE website specifically says the 19t & 17t MiniMODS are not recommended for the MT, just the T and B. It has something to do with the larger tires. The website recommends using the Reedy SP-19 Stump Puller motor. I know others have used the Reedy MiniMODS with no problem, it's just that there's a better motor specifically designed for the MT with more torque to compliment the larger tires...

Here is AE's recommended gearing chart, copied straight from the official AE site:
18T/18B Recommended gearing
#21210 Stock 370 motor 14/60
#290 SP-19 motor 14/60
#291 17 turn Mini Mod 12/60
#292 19 turn Mini Mod 13/60

18MT Recommended gearing

#21210 Stock 370 motor 10/60
#290 SP-19 motor 10/60
#291 17 turn Mini Mod NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MT
#292 19 turn Mini Mod NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MT

Here's the link to the SP-19 http://rc10.com/shusting/CatalogHub/reedy/new/minis.htm and this recommended gearing chart can be found just above the large picture of the motor, labeled RECOMMENDED GEARING.
