I disagree. As far as price compared to fun- I think the micro-t is the best rc buy I've made. Due to the small size, and good handling it is easy to drive ANYWHERE. I run it in my living room, on my table, I take it places in my suitcase and drive it when I'm bored. I even take it off the ramps and up the high banks on my local 1/18 scale track. I rarely go a day without running the Micro-T at least once. For $80 I get alot of use out of this fun little truck.

RE: Micro t is a waste of money
I will sell my micro t it has grease dampend shocks from 420 racing, unbreakable steering links from 420 racing, xmod evo truck spring kit and has only had like 6 packs threw it since I bought it. I just dont have time for it with my work and when I 'm not working I'm playing with my PP. I would also trade it for any upgrades for my PP.(I have a mamba 6800kv, quark 33amp, synthesized radio, titanium turnbuckles on my PP so I dont need any of that) PM me or email me at [email protected] By the way it has the blue body and also comes with it's original box, all the AA's, and a TL little cardboard mini-t ramp.

RE: Micro t is a waste of money
i just purchased a micro-t today and it came with an extra set of upgraded steering tie rods. it was an absolute improvement and the car darts true on straight shots. i must admit i was a tad skeptical of the quality, but was surprised to see how much thought went into the development of this micro-sized stadium truck.
it's simply hard to imagine how any rc fan would not appreciate a micro-t. it's fun, fast, durable, and very affordable. certainly one of the most enjoyable rc car purchases to date.

I admit the stock steering linkages sucked. But, I never broke one. I was ramping it at full speed about 2 feet off the ground, and was usually airbombing into the next ramp on the double (it is a 1/18 scale track. I also have ramped it straight into the wall at full speed, hit walls and ramp edges, and launched it off the vert we use for a high bank turn. Nothing has broke, the linkages just buckled during high speed turns. Plus, it an easy fix.

Usually that happens because the screws that hold moving parts are too tight.
For example the screws that hold the steering links or the top of the rear knuckles need to be backed off so that they can move freely if you tighten them all the way down the link or knuckle will break with almost any light impact, however if they are backed off enough so that there is no binding they can take serious abuse before breaking.

i got a defective (?) micro t and the transmission was lopsided and tight. the motor started smoking it was so hard on it.luckily i unpluged it before it caused any damage. after about 5 charges, though, the gears broke in and now it runs flawlessly. definitely one of my favorite r/c 's for sure.

I bought one about a month ago and right out of the box it was broke. It wouldn't take a charge. My lhs wouldn't take it back so I had to send it to Losi. They ended up losing it for about a week and now it is sitting on the shelf waiting for them to get to. Oh well.

RE: Micro t is a waste of money
I have had my micro t for 3 weeks and havent broke a thing or even adjusted anything on it. Its a heck of alot of fun to run these little critters. I take mine everywhere just to get some run time in ! They r a blast. My lhs has them now at 69.00. The only part i hate is those darn e- clips thats my only complaint! I did put a chrome wheelie bar on it it looks cool. This little truck whellies all the time. Send yours back to the factory and they will fix it , i heard they have exallant customer service. Dont give up!
