Default FUTABA SERVO RC18t Troubles

The truck was on the ground for the first time tonight and now im working out the kinks.

The steering turns free when im holding it in the air, but as soon as i set it on the ground and try to make the wheels turn (side to side) while the vehicle is sitting still, its almost like the drag from the ground is keeping it from moving?? It didnt seem to be a problem when moving though then again theres snow everywhere and i was only in my living room.

Thanks

it's probably all the slop in the stock linkage and servo saver

mine is the same way, but once you get it moving at speed the problem gets much smaller

you could throw aftermarket steering linkages and servo savers at it though

i upgraded the steering pieces to alum and tightened it down tight, its acting almost like the servo isnt strong enough to turn the wheels real good

make sure that the steering link isnt rubbing on the bottom of the gearbox cover.

You probably have the screws too tight. I did the same thing and had to loosen them a wee bit. I saw another guy do the exact same thing so it's common.
