you will probably want to get a new reciever, i dont have a rc18 but i hear that the radios trash, in my mini baja im just going to get a traxxas reciever and use the controller from my n rustler.

the stock radio from the rc18 is the same one from the gt2 and its great for a rtr radio

My total is $230.52 at Towerhobbies. I am really unsure of what I need still as I am a complete noob to electrics. I am not a noob when it comes to nitro though, lol. Here is my list so far. Let me know what I still need.

You will also need paint to finish it, use pactra spray or FasColor(?) and brush on, the choice is yours.
The total I got was like 325.40 plus i think you get $30 off if you use the coupon.

The servo is unnecessary and when you do decide to upgrade the HS-55 won't suit well.

Go for an HS-65 HB or MG with the Factory Team servo saver.

quick question why do you want lipo? If you use the coupon on tower's homepage your total will be like 215

Why wouldn't he want lipo dude? It's like the biggest bolt on power upgrade you can give a mini, besides a brushless motor.

I want a lipo because it gives the motor more juice, from what I've heard.
