I want more ground clearence
Ok, my Micro-T needs a some more suspension travel. Since I do not race the little things and I want it to jump nicely, this will be well worth it.
The stock ground clearence is: 11mm
I want 15-17mm.
Longer arms?
Longer shock shaft?
Does anyone have any ideas on how I could do this?

i don't know how to improve ground clearance besides getting bigger wheels/tires. but you can put fuel tubing on the shock bodies to preload them. this will make it bottom out less.

Wait [link=http://one18th.com/ShowArticle111.htm]this[/link] might help a little. It is a Mini-T mod, but it might work with the Micro-T

Can the arms move down farther than the shocks let them? If so you could just find some longer shocks or use longer shock ends or something.

I can get 15mm if I get longer rear shocks and lower the mounting holes in front. Which is not bad, but I am conserned about the binding in the diffs. I need some custom a-arms.

riiiiiight!
I am pissed, all I ever wanted was a MIDI-T, a cross between a mini and a micro. It would be perfect, The mini is to big and the micro is to small. I need to work for LOSI, and make a freaking 1/27th scale truck!! errrr!

nah. I figured the front-end out, but the ass end is going to be a pain.
I wonder if DP will be making some wide a-arms for this. I know alot of people would like it. Maybe I will call them tommorow.

I dont know anything about the rear end but usually on most vehicles the rod ends are longer than the shock ends, if you switch them you could gain a mm or three.

But i dont think you can inrease the rear travel because the drive shafts would bind with the cups.
