Default what upgrades for new mlst 2 owner?

i just bought my mlst2. i wanna upgrade to a mamba 5400kv/esc combo. what do you guys recommend for the drivetrain? do i need to upgrade the diffs and put cvd's? whats better, a f/r mip ball diff or f/r losi viscous diff? thanks

Yea CVD's would be good the diffs are supposed to be superstrong. You should get a stronger BL system to test out the diffs for everyone.

Get MIP CvD's -- strongest out there.

Don't get the visc. diffs if you're planning on running a powerful brushless. It'll eat'em like candy.

I dont think you will have problems with the stock drivetrain and a mamba 5400kv on the stock battery you will be fine. I used to run mine with a mamba 6800kv and 2 cell lipo and stock drivetrain, even plastic diff, and it ran fine.

BTW: it is for sale... (saving for a truggy)

i just put the mip ctr cvd and ctr ball dif in they work great stick with stock front and rear difs just shim them its a must i smoke the rear the first day with no shims. the losi cvd and ctr ball dif r garbage dont waste your money.

It's worth the money IMO... Defiantly one of the best 1/18 basher out there.
