Default setting up motor

i just got a team orion upgraded motor for my rc18b and cant figure out which cables go to what on the motor. anything will help because ive got no idea right now.

What do you mean...........of course it matters!!! if you get the cables the wrony way around forward will be backwards (eventhough you can reverse the settings for the throttle on the transmitter)
Just look at the old motor and what colour (red=positive, black=negitive) connects to what lead on the esc.
If you need any more help just ask, remember to be as discriptive as possible.

alright well the stock motor has two posts to solder the cables to and on the orion baja motor there are a couple more than that with little copper looking cable running inbetween them. i just cant figure out which posts are the ones i need to connect with. also would there me any major indications on the baja motor that could help me?
