Default anyone know anything x ray nt18?

alright you mirco fans just recently got into rc again and well i am getting a heck of a deal for a x ray. 180 bucks brand new in the pakage still in the pastic bagges. well what i want to know is are they any good and do you have to have one of those jump boxes or will a pull start work on one of those. would be a peice of cake to start. please anyone help

That is a good deal. The nt18 uses the Hudy Micro Start-Box 1/18 # 104300. Yes, the nt18 is a excellent little nitro.

theres not enough room for a pullstarter on the chassis plus....a starterbox is easier IMO

Many people also don't realize that pullstarters lower the efficiency of the engine with the increased drag.

I have been looking at that car for awhile....I thought I would go with the truck version just for the ground clearence......looks like the littlest pebble would throw that thing off track. I have a Micro RS4 that I tried to race on the road but it wasn't as fun as running it inside on the hardwood floors IMO..... The NT18T looks like it would be tons of fun just tearing through the front yard.....knowing me I will probably get both.
