Default Team Losi Mini-LST and Lipoly battery

Hi
I have a Team Losi Mini-LST. I wonder whether it is possible to use a 2-cell lipo battery instead of the usual NiMH's? Can the stock speed controller handle lipos? Low voltage cut off?

You would have to add your own lvc for lipo's. Other than that it will handle a 2s lipo just fine.

I ran without a lvc on my mini-t a while back,before brushless of course.
Once I felt a slight decrease in performance I brought it in,which was a dumb idea.

Einstein had his theory...

mine is:

Speed = LiPo's + BL2

I've put LiPo's in all my Micro Electrics both Helis and Cars...

I've been running my Mini T with stock ESC/Receiver and 2s 7.4v LiPo, also put Lipos in my Mini Baja and Mini LST2...

I feel it's the best mod for any electric!

even with out a low voltage cutoff, I've never had a problem....

when you feel a decrease in speed/power bring it back and turn it off!
