i was wondering what were some good upgrades but arent to expensive and that would make it out of control for indoors.

perhaps a BL system except they range from $100-300 and can make fly along at 50MPH+
Or otherwise a battery pack for around $30 for nimh or 50-60$ for Lipo
or you could judt change it to a larger pinion gear, but you will sacrafice a bit of acceleration and run time.

You can get a decent lipo pack for $30.

brushless is not near as high as that, the mamba is 100-150 and the others are all in that range as well. I have also seen others for less <$80.
If you do get one though make sure its a low kv motor.
Personally I would not do brushless for indoor, lipo possibly just for the increased run time.

I wouldnt go brushless because of the price, but if you wanted to I would go for the mamba 3600 motor and a quark 22A or 33A esc. That motor is slow enough for inside and will give you long runtimes.
