Looking at a Trinity Itsy Bitsy Spyder kit
Has anyone had this car? I found the roller version of the spyder that come with everything, including the micro servo, minus electronics for $65. Is this a good deal? I'd like to get into the 1/18th scene and a need a good start off so I don't wanna get junk!
What I have at home:
Futaba Magnum Sport T2PC 2 channel radio
Futuba FP-R122JE Reciever
Venom Fireball 13d Modified
and a tak Po TP-M8 foward and brake- 9-turn+ ESC

didn't really ask for alternatives, just want to know if anyone knows anything about the Spyder and if its a rc worth purchasing and if the internals I have will be good to use in it. I'm on a budget but I still wanna get my foot in the door so to speak.

I apologize, I misunderstood your original message. The Blade has replaced the Spider, and the cost to convert wont make it cost effective for the deal your getting to convert.

You would be far better set with an RC18, Vendetta or even Mini-T. The Trinity Micros aren't bad, but their user base is small and consequently there are little after market options available for it. I would stay away from it.

I just went ahead and bought a Mini-Rodeo rtr from ebay. Got it for $60 for everything so I guess its not too bad, if I don't like mini's at least I spent less than $100
