RE: Best 1/16 nitro
The Cen mini-g unit(mg16) is a very nice truck, I gave it my vote. I don't own one, but I've read alot about it on cenracing.com and in rc driver magizine. It's a great basher, very durible. Also the motor is 2.5cc, which has enough power to pull a wheelie all the way down the street, not to mention that it's 4wd for awesome off road handeling. Speaking of off road, it's a monster truck so it can handle just about anything you throw at it, with additude. It's cheap too, with a street price of only $220. Also check out the tr, it blows away most rtr transmitters, it's digital (lcd screen) and has a 10 car memory.

There is no best...
I really like the Team VTX-MST1 Truggy. Don't forget about the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNYV5&P=ML]Trinity NEXT[/link]. I own both and they are great vehicles.
You may also want to look at what Team Xray has to offer (top notch IMO).
I don't really like the Mini Inferno 09... It's the prise; it is about $200 more expensive then other nitro minis. For the prise of the Mini Inferno I would get something a little bigger. The one other thing I don't like is you can only use one type of glow plug in the stock engine.

RE: Best 1/16 nitro
My CEN MG-16 should arrive today. Can't wait to tear some stuff up with it!! I researched for about a month before buying my NITRO mini. Nothing even comes close to this CEN in power and capabilities. Can't believe what your getting for the $! Almost bought a Trinity NEXT, until I compared it with the MG-16. No comparison! Any other manufacturers of NITRO minis should be worried. INSANE!!

Well I think I'm going to get the Cen the price you just can't beat and it looks like a great truck. R/C Lightweight let us know how it runs.

RE: Best 1/16 nitro
Just finished breaking in my CEN MG-16 today. I suffered severe break in pains, but I think with a new glow plug and after I lean it out it should run good. It's got insane power. I had to adjust the brake linkage, it was hanging up. No biggie. Looking forward to finding out what this truck can really do. Acceleration is ridiculously quick. Looks like it'll be a great truck.

You won't regret it. It packs a wallop for a 1/16. I hope yours breaks in easier than mine did though. MG-16 is in a class of it's own. The motor is so much bigger than other 1/16 NITROs that it isn't even funny!

You get what you pay for
Vulcan $180
Mini Inferno 09 $400

You get what you pay for is not always true. The MG-16 is much better than the vulcan if you ask me, then compare the MG-16 to the Mini Inferno 09, there's no need to spend the extra money.
