The piggyback shocks are useless, they don't have a reall point. Normal shocks work a lot better the piggybacks. The only piggybacks that look good and performe good are the normal shocks with a dummy piggyback put on it.

I am pretty sure they can help if you are having troubles bottoming out... I wouldn't say they are useless

I wouldn't say that they are completly useless, but I think they are more for cool looks than actual use.

Every one on here is going to say some thing negative a bout piggy-back shocks, I asked and that was all I got.

The diverence is that a piggy-back shock has an oil resovor and it hold more oil then a normal shock, witch means less bottoming out.

Look at sand rails or dirt bikes, they have piggy back shocks, not for looks but performance. I know I would want a piigy back shock for my dirt bike, I dont want to do jumps and stuff and bottoming out on a 70+ jump in the middle of a race.

A piggyback shock simply moves the reservoir somewhere else, which allows the piston to travel the full length of the shock. The result is a shock with more travel for its length than other shocks. It doesn't necessarily have more oil or keep you from bottoming out.
